I felt it important to inform the multitude of dedicated NFL sports fans and update this blog. Showing the flagrant disrespect corporate America, and in particular the National Football League (NFL) and its players have for the sacrifice of American blood, and our dedicated heroic military servicemen. What are the limits to greed, arrogance and in-your-face disrespect?
I ask you take a moment to read this brief article penned by Marine Colonel Jeffrey A. Powers (ret.), on the disrespect the NFL is allowing and condoning. This short article is absolutely authentic.

I first want to state my loathing, disrespect and distrust for most of our government elites and leaders. Who by willful choice and objection, cowered at the honor and privilege to serve in the Armed Forces of the United States, and shirked their duty. They reap all the benefits America has to offer, and give back nothing in meaningful form except to become millionaires on a government salary. This represents the vast majority of our current federal and state elected government occupants, much less our current apologist Muslim President. And some of them that did serve for their own future lusts, such as Secretary of State John Kerry, who was an embarrassment to himself, our country, and every soldier who ever donned the American uniform.
Tyrants and globalists like these want to be the elite and rule, not serving courageously risking life and limb as patriotic Americans, for the best interests of the United States, our freedoms and our sovereignty. They consider themselves beyond putting themselves in harm's way to protect our nation and the freedoms we paid for with American blood and lives. To them I say; at least give the military combat veteran, Soldier, Sailor, Airman and Marine their just due and respect, reverence, adequate and timely health care, employment and a big heartfelt THANK YOU.
If you haven't noticed, this same group of cowering elected elites are trying their best to restrict gun ownership to military veterans, and those receiving health care through the Veterans Administration Medical Health Care system. That's absurd, and I'm well aware of this unlawful agenda and reasons behind it. The elites are pursuing their own liberal agendas and disregarding our Constitutional Second Amendment Rights. Now to the main topic of sacrificing of our American blood.
Let's ask a few basic questions for us to ponder.
Under what circumstances should our military forces be deployed?
What is the lawful purpose of our military and government?
What is the value of just ONE Soldier, Sailor, Airman or Marine life?
This should answer the first two questions: Provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity… Did you notice the two words ourselves and posterity? I can't read into this preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America about anything offensive, police actions, limited wars, conflicts, securing freedom and liberty for any other foreign power or nation, or nation building can you? We have drifted so far away from our Constitutional Republic calling it a Democracy, and we are paying for it with the precious blood and lives of our beloved children; sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and friends. Why are we needlessly sacrificing our beloved for a political agenda and posturing that poses no threat to our national security?
Since the conclusion of World War II and about 1947, our military has been used as a 'political tool' to achieve a political ideology, agenda and interests of a President and the United Nations on far too many occasions. Our founding fathers warned us about making 'treaties' with foreign nations if that's used as any sort of justification for our actions. Not counting the numerous minor conflicts and skirmishes our military was deployed in, I'm only going to concentrate on three major conflicts; Korea, Vietnam and the Persian Gulf.
According to our antiquated and seldom followed “Constitution of the United States of America”, only Congress has the power to declare war. Since 1947 Congress has illegally relegated that power to the POTUS. Congress has not made a declaration of war since 1942, except on 'we the people', once known as constituents.
The purpose of our armed forces is to protect our own American soil and its citizens against both foreign and domestic threat, viciously with no restraints and by any and all means necessary. Did the North Korean's or North Vietnamese attack the United States, sink an American vessel at sea or do any tangibly hostile act of war aimed at US.?
If our military is unleashed on a bonafide threat to our national security, it's called war for a reason, not a limited war. Our military was designed to conquer and subdue the impending threat unrestrained by political interests or politically stated objectives with no mercy, PERIOD. That all ended after WW II. Which brings to mind; when was the last time a US. enemy observed the Geneva Convention? Another liberal world view that hamstrings and hinders our generals, our troops and our national security. Sun Tzu, probably the greatest military strategist who ever lived is probably rolling around in his grave laughing his ass off at US. As well as all our current and potential enemies stacking up like cord wood. We are our own worst enemy.
Technically we are still at war with North Korea sixty-six years later and North Korea remains a threat to the world. The Korean 'war' was not a war, it was a police action that at the time did not pose an imminent threat to the United States. What did we the people of the United States gain invading Korea? We were satisfied fighting to a stalemate and lost 33,686 American lives, and for what benefit to US., and the parents, family and friends of servicemen and women who perished?
The stated goal of the Vietnam involvement was “to stop the aggression of Communism”. The same strategy and approach of limited and measured force was applied to the 'Vietnam Conflict', where 58,220 of our brave American servicemen and servicewomen gave their last measure of self. We lost few battles in combat but ended up losing the 'war' because of 'politics'. The American people lost patience to stop the American slaughter, and rightfully so.
As every veteran can, I can personally attest to how restrained and restricted we were by rules of engagement in actual live combat in Vietnam. It became quickly apparent we were not there to win the 'war' or achieve total military victory. In other words, if you handcuff me and put me in a straight jacket, I don't have much of a chance to kick your ass and I'm going to take a beating.
What did we gain by the misappropriation of our military and resources? 58,220 dead, tens of thousands wounded for life, not to mention the billions spent, and all for what, we lost? In every instance the United States politician's stuck their nose into where it didn't belong, hamstrung our Generals and fighting forces and we gained nothing and lost everything! We are not the world's police force or pawns for the slaughter of our family and loved ones for politics or treaties.
Getting involved with Iraq, Afghanistan and the Persian Gulf is just the latest major blunder of our incompetent political leaders. It's historical fact and common knowledge what the final outcome will be. Another situation where we are worse off before we started. Not to even count the loss of our loved ones and the astronomical costs.
What military strategist in their right mind would invade a country and stop short of taking its capital (Baghdad)? An inept uncommitted politician that's who. And just look at all the ridiculous restrictions placed on our fighting forces in the Persian Gulf today, as not to offend the barbaric Muslim enemy? Notice I didn't say radical Islam, insurgents or terrorists. We are at war with a religious way of life. Please read THIS to learn about the religion of pieces.
To be politically correct, our troops are to be sensitive and not offend any Muslims; they are not allowed to drink or possess alcohol, pornography or even have a Bible with them in the Islamic state! Are you kidding me, is this some sort of sick joke imposed on our brave young men and women overseas? We are to abide by their religious beliefs and customs while in their country (insert a handful of chosen expletives here).
It almost takes an act of Congress (and they don't act) to fire on a Mosque when attacked from one. The Mosque's are known sanctuaries for Islamic fighters and weapons caches, yet we are restricted from entering them until special permission is granted? All together now, let's say “HAMSTRUNG”.
We have invaded and subjected ourselves into the Middle East, a conflict we can not conceivably win with the inept political strategy our forces fight under. There will be absolutely no benefit to anyone in the end, just pain and great loss of life on our side. Ancient history; the Koran, the Hadith and current events have shown Islam doesn't desire freedom and liberty, and hates the 'Great Satan' with a suicidal passion. They will 'always' revert back to Shiah Law and kill the Christian, Jew, Infidel and each other.
The preceding then begs the question; is it worth one drop of your precious son's or daughter's blood, or worse, their only precious life? To coddle, protect and nation build Islamic states and Muslim's hell bent on our destruction? H – E – double L, NO! This is nothing short of mindless insanity folks.
We need to keep our nose out of other nations affairs and stop being the world police, until an enemy becomes a direct, verified and imminent threat to OUR nation and peoples. Then we should unleash the dogs of war with everything we have; viciously, brutally, unrestricted and without mercy. The first rule of war and survival is, there are no rules if you want to win. That's what our military should be designed and engaged for, nothing else.
God Bless each and every one of our troops and keep them safe.
